Jim Yates - Owner/Driver Jim is the driving force behind the Sea Ray/B&W Pontiac GTO racing operation. He is a mechanical engineer, a successful businessman and a championship driver. |
Jamie Yates - Crew Chief Jamie assumed the duties of crew chief during the 2002 season. He holds his own Pro Stock License and drives the teams second car. He has temporarily put his pursuit of an engineering degree at the University of Maryland on hold. |
Toni Yates - Crew Member Toni, wife of Jim Yates, is the heartbeat of the race team. She now concentrates on the many team administrative duties, weather related analysis, and data acquisition duties. She is a familiar sight on the starting line and can be seen working alongside the crew in the pits. |
Al Waters - Crew Member Al's duties mostly center around the rear of the car. He is also responsible for filming car runs and other duties. |
Jonathan Yates - Crew Member Jon assists wherever needed, mostly in the clutch area when his junior studies at Clemson allow him to be present at the track. He has grown up around his dad's race car and is no stranger to "assigned track duties." |
